The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority has been established by the Ottawa-Carleton District and the Ottawa Catholic School Boards to administer transportation services for eligible students of their respective Boards.  Staff of each Board’s Transportation Departments are now working side-by-side within the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority to provide transportation services to students of both Boards with the goal to deliver effective and efficient transportation services for the more than 60,000 students of the member Boards each school day.

The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority, its member Boards, and local school transportation providers encourage parents to bring their primary school-aged children (JK-Grade3) to our annual School Bus Safety Awareness Day. This event takes place each year in August, just prior to the first day of school. Please check back with us later on this year as the date for August 2009 will be confirmed in the coming months.
