The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority is getting ready for a transformation to become an efficient and effective transportation delivery service for many students in the OCDSB and OCSB. To achieve this, we are examining several key elements which will lead to routing efficiencies as part of OSTA's transformation project, including a system wide bell time review and new walk zone maps with updated walking hazards.

The 22nd Annual School Bus Safety Awareness Day will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2014. This is always a great opportunity for your child to learn about school bus safety. Children can take a school bus ride while their families tag along, enjoy refreshments and games, and watch a school bus safety video featuring Winnie the Pooh! All children entering the school system for the first time in the fall, or new residents to the area should plan to attend Safety Awareness Day. The day’s activities are suitable for all elementary school-age children and everyone is welcome.
The event is held at six sites in the Ottawa area, including two French sites. Register by calling the school site you wish to attend.
