The feedback expressed a concern with the traffic at the intersections of Pickford at Kakulu. A new traffic count was done and noted a low volume of under 2500 vehicles/hr and a crossing guard is present.

The feedback expressed a concern with the path not having a crossing at the end of the path, nor a complete sidewalk on the south side of Kakulu that comes from Shearer. This path way has been removed from the distance calculation.
The feedback expressed a concern that the Castlefrank at Kakulu crossing guard’s times won’t change with any bell time change. If the bell time changes, the crossing guard’s times will also change to meet the school community’s needs.

Outcome: Paths at back of school removed from distance calculation because they are not winter maintained. The path that goes from Shearer to Kakulu has been removed from the distance calculation because there is no intersection to cross to the sidewalk on the other side.
