Transportation Confirmation for 2022-2023
Are you planning on using student transportation in 2022-2023? To make better use of transportation services, OSTA is asking all parents and guardians of OCDSB and OCSB eligible students to confirm their intentions for transportation services. It’s simple! Let OSTA know your intentions by completing the Transportation Confirmation Form.
OCDSB students who are in one of the following school programs must confirm= Early French Immersion, Middle French Immersion, Regular (English with core French), Gifted, International Baccalaureate, School of Arts, High-Performance Athletes, Specialist High Skills Major Program, English as a Second Language, English Language Learner, English Literacy Development, Alternative Program, and Adaptive Program.
Changed your mind?
Please complete a new Transportation Confirmation form to notify us if your circumstances have changed, affecting your eligible child(ren)’s transportation (e.g., confirmed transportation but no longer needed or transportation is now needed).
Important: This is not the empty seat/courtesy program, which is currently suspended due to COVID-19. The transportation confirmation process is for eligible students ONLY (refer to OSTA’s T18 – Transportation Eligibility for more information).
If you intend to apply for joint custody transportation and/or specialized transportation, you do not need to confirm your child’s transportation. Both require separate transportation forms to be complete, with specialized transportation requiring the approval of the applicable member school board. Confirmation of transportation will be done upon receipt of the appropriate transportation forms. Refer to the FAQ below for more information.
