The feedback expressed a concern with the intersection of Jeanne D’Arc at Vineyard being too close to the highway off ramp. A new hazard was added west of Jeanne D’Arc (417 to before Voyageur).

The feedback expressed a concern with traffic at the intersection of Jeanne D’Arc and St. Louis Dr. This portion of Jeanne D’Arc is under 2500 veh/hr which is considered low volume and St. Louis is a residential street with low traffic volume and low speeds.

The feedback expressed a concern with the use of the paths in Hiawatha Park and Father Ward Park. The pathways in these parks are not used in our maps.

The feedback expressed a concern with traffic at the intersection of Jeanne D’ Arc at Vorlage but data shows a traffic volume of under 2500 veh/hr which is low volume and the intersection has traffic lights.

The feedback expressed a concern with traffic at Jeanne D’ Arc at Orleans but no one crosses Orleans due to a hazard Zone.

The feedback expressed a concern with traffic at the intersection of St Louis at Buckskin. These streets are residential streets with low volumes of traffic and low speeds.

Outcome: A new hazard was added west of Jeanne D’Arc (417 to before Voyageur) for all grades.  OSTA recognizes that the nature of traffic should be a consideration as commuters are rushing to get to the Queensway on-ramp and may not be fully aware of the crossing.  The alternate route is in the opposite direction and is not likely to be used by students.
