Empty Seat Assignments

The first wave of empty seat assignments is now complete. 5,107 applications were received and 3,379 seats were assigned. All remaining students are on wait lists, including those whose applications were received after the September 20 deadline.

The next empty seat review will occur mid-November. Parents/guardians of students on waiting lists will be notified directly of any NEW seat assignments for their children. Those who have not been contacted will remain on the waiting list until the next review period. OSTA continues to prioritize seat assignments based on its guidelines, regardless of when the application was received.
