OSTA is excited to announce the launch of our Practice your Walk to School Event
This summer, from July 6 until July 17, OSTA is encouraging families in the Walk Zone to practice walking their route to school in preparation for the coming school year and learn more about the benefits of active transportation. Take the Challenge and #GetYourWalkOn
Learn pedestrian safety tips through resources available on OSTA’s website. Download and play the OSTA Eye Spy Game; a fun interactive way to help teach pedestrian safety skills to your child and help prepare the for Back to School. The Eye Spy game encourages children to learn about road signs, pedestrian infrastructure like crosswalks, being aware of their surroundings and more. Share your photos of your “Eye Spy Finds” on social media using the hashtag #GetYourWalkOn

How many times did you practice your walk to school? How far did you walk this week?
Track the number of times you practiced your walked to school during the Walk to your School Event Week (July 6 – July 17) and share your success and photos of your walk on social media using the hashtag #GetYourWalkOn.
